I felt like i was a burden for coming into dine that day-staff members did not look like they wanted to be there and their body language said it all.there were no smiles and no greeting on this day.maybe pressure in the work place-it was a nice meal but a lacklustre atmosphere.

great sized servings for only $10.although other items are very expensive, sometimes people just need more communication with customers.a smile and hello goes a long way.

I was put off by a bad experience at Rashays five years ago. After half a decade of boycotting them for slyly charging us for lemon wedges and downgrading aioli to tomato sauce, I decided to give them another go.

Their menu covers a lot of ground and there are some house special bargains mixed in with mostly standard prices. The chicken and mushroom crepe I ordered was certainly tasty and good value for money though the standout part of the meal was the incredibly fast service. Our meals were brought out within minutes of ordering. They were hot and fresh and decent serving sizes. The staff were polite and attentive. Our milkshake and frappe-style drink were very good value compared to other similar restaurants.

The only "complaint" I have is that my two year old's fish and chips came out with almost half a cup of tomato sauce! Of course with that to play around with, she barely touched her food. That quantity of sauce cannot be healthy even for an adult. I know it's not their responsibility to monitor what goes into our kids' mouths but really that amount of sauce is unnecessary ... and my previous experience with Rashays tells me just how much value they place on their tomato sauce!

Slow service, food wasn't that great. We have tried it a few times now, last visit - Our sour cream was curdled and the manager told us "its fresh, we just opened it"

I don't recommend this place, unless you enjoy a long wait for a disappointing meal.

Tried it out again and was alright for the price, 8 dollars for schnitzel and chips. But service is slow and chicken still a bit over cooked as it's too thin in parts. Yes my friend paid for a slice of lemon too lol! Crazy stuff! I wouldn't rush back, there was no customers and still had to call them over to get served. Very nice staff though. Yes it is crazy to be stingy over lemon wedges and swapping sauces, extra sauce/gravy sure! Will I go back? Not for a while.

Approximate cost: $10 to 30

I've only eaten a Rashays once but was so put off by their penny-pinching over condiments that I refuse to return! Mediocre food aside, their charging for a lemon wedge served with a piece of fish was shameful. What really did it for me, though was, being pregnant and not sure whether their aioli was fresh (thus containing raw egg which is a no-no for those "with child"), I asked to swap the aioli for tomato sauce. When we went to pay, I was CHARGED for the tomato sauce, never mind that the aioli would surely have been worth more! So really, if we're getting down to the nitty gritty of it, they should have given me a credit!! I was (still am) so disgusted at their penny pinching policies that I flat out refuse ever to return to Rashays and I can tell you: Rashays' disregard for customer goodwill has come up in many a conversation with friends and family! Charging for a lemon wedge?! Phhht!

Ate here a couple of times and this reminded me of sizzler dining experience back in the day. Food was served as if it was cooked an hour earlier and kept warm on a food warmer. You would most likely be better off at the local RSL or bowling club

Approximate cost: $25

Have eaten here a few times for different work functions, not really fussed with it. Really enjoy their signature chicken dish and the servings are very generous almost unfinishable. For dessert we ordered their highly recommended Nutella pizza and were rather disappointed with it. Tasted like a frozen base that they spread Nutella over and stuck in the oven to warm up. It tasted awful, we complained and they refunded us for half a dessert pizza because we ate half of it when we tried it.... I probably could have made it better myself at home. The service is relatively fast and efficient but the staff are not friendly at all. It is usually very loud here especially Friday or Saturday night when they are busy. I wouldn't take my family here not a great atmosphere for small children.

Hi Angelar15, thanks for your comments in relation to the afore-mentioned business. Whenever we see conflicting reviews/comments (like in this case), we always consider that reviews composed by members with a 100% TrustFactor to be more believable and legitimate. Despite being a seriously basic dish, dessert pizzas (much like regular ones) can be ruined if not treated with respect. If the best this establishment can offer is some Nutella spread on a pizza base, then this speaks for itself. We thank you for the heads-up! Reeces
