I was so incredibly disappointed in the service at Raffaele Cuica in Armadale and would encourage brides to save themselves the heartache by going elsewhere to find their dream wedding dress. First, they did not respect the budget I gave them initially ($4000) and continued to bring out dresses well beyond this. Of course I fell in love with a $5400 dress which after consultation with my fiancé was willing to buy but had seen it advertised elsewhere for slightly less. When making enquiries about this they said bring in the evidence and they would be happy to sell it to me at that cost. Well, I can tell you now, the attitude of [REDACTED] on the day I intended to buy was horrific. I was naked and about to put the dress on (to show my future mother in law and one of my very excited bridesmaids) and [REDACTED] thought it an appropriate time to discuss why they couldn’t possibly discount the dress. Her tone was harsh and made all three of us feel like children who had done the wrong thing. After finally getting the dress on, the moment was well and truly ruined. She proceeded to glare at me and professed the store ‘don’t do discounts’ (even though it was her who said she could come down on the price) as they pride themselves on ‘amazing service’. Well I can tell you, never have I felt so embarrassed, confused and shocked. I asked what size I was in the dress (as all dresses vary in size guides) and she refused to give me that information unless I signed a contract. So appalling and disgraceful.
From one bride to another, do not shop at Raffaele Cuica.

Overpriced Chinese made dresses. Friendly and helpful staff until you pay your deposit and then they couldn't care less about you or your dress. On to the next sale...

Look for a a more personalised boutique for your dress. This place is just about making money not making dreams come true!

Picked up my dress today and made some minor tweaks which were done in 20 mins.
Young girl who did my fittings was absolutely lovely and really helpful.
Alterations however where quite expensive.
$740 including a hoop skirt which was $190

I purchased my dress from Raffaele Ciuca in Brunswick and had my alternations done at the Fitzroy store. Sophie who did my fittings was fantastic and done an amazing job! She really listened to what I wanted and her experience shone through. Nothing seemed too much trouble for her and you could tell she obviously knew what she was doing!

I went to the Brunswick store and found the range of dresses staggering. The staff were professional and courteous - I was also served by Carmela who was just lovely. They also had a great range of accessories that you could try on with your dress to get the full impact. I found the veils to be quite expensive though. I went to the store on three occasions and each time though I had an appointment I was kept waiting. Once you are being served however, you have the complete and undivided attention of your sales assistant.

I purchased my wedding gown and veil from the Brunswick store, and the sales assistant, Carmela was just such a fantastic help when I was originally choosing gowns. She gave an honest opinion and actually told me if a gown I liked didn't particularly suit me. As a plus sized girl, it was very refreshing to have such honesty.
Nothing was too hard, and my gown arrived ahead of the expected time. I also went through the Fitzroy store for my alterations, and the young seamstress was just so polite and caring, and really took the time to listen to what I wanted altered. I would recommend going through this store to anyone!

I wanst very pleased with the service at all. I had made an appointment as required, but I felt very rushed when trying on all the gowns. I didnt feel as though I was being treated as a future Bride. I felt as though it was an obligation for this particular sales "assistant" to assist me and i felt pressure to buy a gown..and i quote "If you dont buy/order the gown u like in the next month, you wont get it because the x-mas & New year period is just too busy" Well that's just great...Would you put your trust in ordering a wedding dress u "might not get?!" I wouldnt.

I didnt think the quality of materials that were used was great either. but i suppose u get what u pay for.
My oh My did i see the difference when I walked into a designer Boutique a few doors down. Such Service, Such presence, Such fabric . I bought my dress from there.

I would call Raffaele Cuica the "Forgers" of bridal gown shopping.

I hired my suit and suits for my groomsmen from here. They had a good range of woollen suits, and Zlatko was very helpful. The quality of the suits was good, but the ties the groomsmen had were quite frayed.

For our wedding, my husband and his four groomsmen hired their suits from here. We looked at a couple of other places but the quality seemed really cheap (I'm pretty sure these were wool suits here). Even though the store is not all that big, they had a good range to choose from and the fitting service seemed very thorough (they had Connie as a consultant). They also have nice wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses here too. In fact, I nearly purchased my wedding dress here but in the end decided that I liked one somewhere else a bit better.

I had to get my dress altered and the alteraions lady was so rude to me. Basically said I was going to out on heaps of weight. Told me my undergarments would not suit the dress but another dress maker said they were fine.
