Went past today and the 2 men were just chatting and readinig the paper so I thought oh great I'll get them to put a hole through this leather pouch I had that I needed to put a stud on. Even though they were doing absolutely NOTHING at the time I was told to leave it with them and give them 15 minutes. They were doing NOTHING right then and they had been doing nothing for a while because I went past before my shopping half an hour earlier and they were chatting and reading the paper then. Everytime I use these guys, or try to use them, I regret it. I would rather go elsewhere but I suppose because they are the only shoe repairers/key cutters in Meadow Mews they assume they don't have to give good customer service because they don't have any competition. News guys - this town is not that big that we can't go elsewhere. This is not the first time I have found them rude, lazy and inefficient but it will be the last time!!!

They sell a small range of gift ware including glasses, pewter flasks, watches, keyrings and a few other items which can be engraved for a little extra. They also repair shoes as well as handbag repairs. They will repair your shoes while you wait if they are not to busy or give you a time and day to come back. I have always found the man very nice and always cheerful. I found him to be the cheapest place in launceston to get keys cut and if you need more than one cut there is a discount for 2 or more.
