I absolutely adore my time at Punch every 8 weeks. Every cut and colour Nicole does for me is fun and joyful. I feel amazing after every visit. It's not only my cut and colour, it's how wonderful I feel during the couple of hours I am there. The girls make me feel so so special. We laugh, cry and solve the world's problems together. A wonderful place to be. You will not find a better place anywhere in Melbourne to have your hair done.

Nicole has been wrangling my mop for over 13 years! She always does a great job, is up for a chat or a tale and never sells me product i don't need. What more could you ask for from your hairdresser? How about good coffee, wine, a biscuit, super comfy reclining hair washing chairs and Anja's 'to die for' head massage...need more? Have some friendly and engaging staff, kid friendly everything, great music and a warm inviting salon...the list goes on and on!

have been going to Punch since it opened and love catching up with Nicole and feeling so amazing walking out with great hair! Last time wasn't quite sure what I wanted but Nicole knew exactly what would work and I love my new do and the wows from family and friends!
Also take the kids and all the stylists Nicole, Anja, Martha, Sophie make them feel comfortable, relaxed and special and give them stylish cuts. Even line them all up and cut at same time! and they love a tiny teddy treat. Can totally recommend.

I have been going to Punch on High Street in Northcote for over 3 years now, and i can't recommend them highly enough! Sophie, the stylist who i regularly visit is always happy and smiling and knows how to cut and style hair! Coffee or a drink of choice is always on offer on arrival ,including lots of smiles from all the staff.

I've referred a couple of friends to Punch now after being asked who does my hair - best recommendation there is, especially since I've never before been known for having nice hair. Martha is down to earth and thorough, has been helping me manage what was a disastrous grown-out bleach semi into a now nice foils/natural look. She won't sell you shit either, the products I've bought have been well worth it and on point for my care and style needs. Martha has been really awesome creating my last two looks which were quite dramatic changes after a decade of the same old, safe, long-haired, slightly layered look. I've enjoyed a couple of months with my first short bob and felt really confident in Martha's work so I've gone for a very short cut now and love it. Overall a great salon in the year since I discovered it.
