I love Providore. Their apple cake and their chocolate mousse cake are utterly amazing, and I have always sung their praises. I do have to say though, that recently their prices have gone up. I am aware that this is because of inflation etc, but it's sad to watch them go from an affordable, amazing gem, to something that one can only enjoy on a rare occasion.

For the quality of chocolate, cakes and everything it's amazing. You are better to go here for some dessert that's fresh and of fantastic quality, simply amazing.

Providore is AMAAAHHHZING. It's a wonder I manage to ever walk away from their glass front counters; the cakes that sing their siren song within are so mesmerising, so perfect...

If Truman Capote wrote a book about me it would be called Breakfast at Providore.
I've drunk from their fount of chocolate a few times. A small cup goes perfectly with freshly bought strawberries. I've also bought pavlova rolls for birthday cakes a number of times, and received waves of compliments on my choice. And I've lost track of the number of times I've bought home elegantly packaged boxes of cake or eclairs, or especially canoli, for an after-shopping treat.

The best thing about this stall though, is that although the cakes are fresh, beautifully made, and ranging from the eclectic to the traditional, they are only a little more expensive than some of the more disappointing cakes stores in the vicinity.

Massive chocolate crackles, melting Belgian chocolate ... What else do I have to say? The quality of their produce is fantastic. It doesn't help that the face painter is only 3 meters away!!!
