Great views of the Port River and the freshest produce combined with an innovative and Mediterranean style menu and friendly, highly efficient service

I used to live in the apartments next door. Very nice place, clean. I mostly went there for coffee. Have eaten their a few times but i think that it is overpriced for what you get.

Fortunate to live near by, just a quick but pleasant 5min walk along the waterfront, watching the bird life and sometimes if we are lucky the dolphins. And then to be able to site on the waterfront and enjoy your meal, with a fabulous view at night of the old mill lit up.
The food is always fabulous, the wine superb. The owner, Gio, personally picks local wines to complement the food. There is a good variety of food in their mediterranean range.
the staff are wonderful, they treat you like a member of the family, probably sometimes better!. Nothing is too much trouble - and they are about to add more services to their already great range such as gourmet take-aways. it really is a dining pleasure at the Portobello.....and they have the awards to prove it, which they gained in their first year.
