I had a blow dry at this salon last week for a very important event, not only was the stylist extremely late in attending to me but the blow dry wasn't great. I was charged extra for a treatment that I didn't even know I was getting and all they did during the appointment was push products on me. Not a happy customer!

Too many clients booked in on top of each other, no chairs available. Colour left on too long as they didn't have anyone available to rinse my colour. The staff was lovely but I felt like the salon was crazy chaotic and their time management skills were out the window. I also felt they were really pushing to sell me some products. Which I did not appreciate. Over all my hair looked nice but I think their prices especially colour are similar prices to what most of the bigger more well known salons charge. The surroundings and the level of professionalism was far from a 5 star experience.

Disappointing experience. Had been once before for cut and colour, and it seemed a nice, friendly salon. Colour not quite right (bit brassy), but not terrible and thought I'd try once more before going elsewhere. Hairdresser seemed to understand, and encouraged me to address any problems at the time in the future, even if minor. But when I saw my colour it was clear that they hadn't understood (or cared) at all. Same problem but much, much worse. When I quietly voiced my concerns, they blamed the previous colour (not at fault) and made a rudimentary attempt to soften things while not ever trying to understand the issues or accept any responsibility. It still wasn't (isn't) right, but when I gently tried to mention it I was patronisingly advised to go home and to see it in 'your own light'. I've been colouring my hair for a long, long time, and I'm used to having the odd colour which is a bit off. What upset me this time around was the defensive attitude and failure in effective communication. If an attempt had been made to understand my point of view, accept some responsibility and plan for future visits I would have been fine with it. But as it was the visit has (clearly) left a bad taste in my mouth.

I first came in to this salon after moving to the Crows Nest area and was trying to recover from very badly damaged over-bleached blonde hair from a hair salon in my old location. From the first appointment Steph was just amazing. She listened to everything I said and worked with me to get my hair the perfect colour and in much better condition over several appointments. I am very picky with the shade of blonde I like (not too cool and not too warm/gold) and Steph never hesitates to suggest ideas and options to make sure I am 100% happy with the end result each and every time - she is seriously a colour genius. The salon is modern yet relaxed and the service of all the staff is professional but still friendly. Steph is worth her weight in gold and I couldn't be happier.

Unfortunately, due to having to relocate I will be unable to come back to this salon. Such a shame as it's so hard to find a good hairdresser. Steph gave me a full head of foils and a cut and did an excellent job. She was rectifying a bit of a disaster for me, so took the extra time to make sure the foils were extra fine so I could be the blonde I wanted to be! Would highly recommend this salon.
