10 reviews about PNJ Partners

Dodgy agent Thomas who after we left our rental took us to Vcat claiming over $1200 in damage caused by "scuff marks" on floorboards. wasted a day of our time plus the stress in preparing for the case. the verdict was of course given in our favour as it was general wear and tear.... any reasonable person (including the judge thankfully) could see that. Do not deal with them!

PNJ sold our 2 houses in Reservoir for record prices for the area. They achieved the record prices with no fuss and minimum inspections. PNJ sold our properties after two other agents failed. We can highly recommend PNJ and will definitely use them again.

PNJ sold our house with no fuss, no inspections for 10 - 30% above the best result we could have ever achieved at auction. Can recommend and would use again no problems.

Wish my boyfriend and I read these reviews before signing up to PNJ. They are THE worst real estate agents in the world. They are rude, they lie, they are aggressive.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT rent form these people!!!!!!!!

I leased a rental property. The agent was not helpful with repairs and didn't turn up to inspections. I found the agent extremely discourteous and unprofessional.

Approximate cost: $430

This is absolutely the worst real estate agent I have had the misfortune of dealing with. They're unhelpful, nasty and they lie all the time. Please, please, don't deal with them. You will only have a very nasty experience. Honestly, sleeping in the park is a better alternative than renting with this mob. Why can't somebody do something about them. They constantly get bad reviews. I've spoken to ex renters from them and everyone without exception have complained about their behaviour. I cant even explain how bad they are in my situation. They have constantly lied and then have said that I have lied. I haven't but they always twist anything you say around. People, be VERY VERY careful of dealing with them. Does anyone know how we can get rid of them (legally of course!!)?

We received a 120 day notice to vacate with no reason given. PNJ tried to arrange inspections months before we were due to move out. Upon reminding PNJ that they couldn't inspect the property until 14 days prior, we were threatened with: "As stated we can make this easy or difficult and I am sure that you will understand the wisdom of doing either." We sent this off with a complaint to Consumer Affairs. The Estate Agents Resolution Service promptly spoke to PNJ and reminded them that they were wrong!
We ended up moving out on a Sunday, but had paid up until tuesday. The request to have the rent refunded was refused. We threatened to take PNJ to VCAT. Upon doing this, PNJ warned us that we'd have to pay $500 for them to appear at VCAT!! They also initially refused to refund our bond to try and prevent us from not going to VCAT. They even issued us a VCAT notice to try and recover $500 from us for simply appearing!!! hah! The was promptly refunded (late) after a few calls to Consumer Affairs and a friendly reminder to PNJ that this was illegal. Still, no rent refund.... So, after about a month, we applied to VCAT for a hearing. It was held on 16th December. VCAT found in our favour and had some stern words for PNJ. A court order was issued and we were refunded our $100 in rent owing (no big deal, but worth it!). Unfortunately, VCAT can't refund the costs, but that's OK, I would have paid $100 to do it again, it was so satisfying. I've kept this account factual, but I'm sure you can understand the feelings behind it are less than positive. This firm will never again get our business and part of the reason for writing this is to ensure that as many people as possible make the same choice.

I'm glad we aren't the only people that have had a horrible experience with this agency.

PNJ Partners were continually difficult to deal with throughout our tenancy. Whenever we contacted PNJ Partners they were not helpful in resolving rent payment queries and negotiations about fixing damaged fittings in the house. They also made an invalid claim on our bond after we ended our tenancy by referring to lease agreement conditions that did not exist. In other words they lied to try and recoup more of our bond. I would not recommend renting or buying through PNJ Partners at all.

Very helpful, thanks - good to know we're not the only ones who have had terrible experiences with this agency!

After discussing with the agent some cleaning issues associated with the house being filthy when we took possession, we received threatening emails and phone calls. The following is taken from one such email, immediately following a phone call from a female staff member threatening to throw us out/calling us a waste of space, amongst other pleasantries: "Break Lease Fee, Advertising Fee, Cost of My time . I kindly suggest both of you, Think about what you are doing? It appears to me that you want To move out!"
Needless to say, completely unprofessional overall. Will never rent again, and will certainly never buy, through this agency.
