It's hard to find a good doctor anywhere, I've been coming here on and off for 20years it has changed.The staff need to be more warm when you come in and try to smile because when your sick or your child's sick the last thing you want to see is some one who looks as though they have a bad attitude, I've been there early for pathology so I can get in and out as fast as possible I was first in line but still had to wait at least 15 mins while they caught up on their gossip, they new I was their but told me to wait.When they saw more people come they decided to call me in. ( it's as if they have that attitude of let's not do more than the minimum so they don't expect more off us!)The health system is just getting worse in general.

When my normal doc is booked out I come here. Mediocre customer service but fantastic hours of operation

Ive been going here for several years, I don't have a problem with the doctors but I do mind the unprofessional, rude staff every time I come in here staff has mad attitude problem had to wait for almost 2 hours for staff to turn around saying"whats your name and who u meant 6to be seeing" I laughed

Hey I've been going to this place for almost as long as it has been open and although I now live 4 suburbs away I still end up going back because they are better than anybody else I've tried.

Absolutely disgraceful Medical Centre, in my opinion. It takes about 10 minutes to ask to see a doctor because they just take phone calls and type away on their computer. Once your in it takes over 2 + hours to see a doctor! Just absolutely appalling!!

I'm afraid I have to echo everyone elses sentiments here. I, as well as my entire family have been coming here for around 25 years. It was a different world back then; the interior was salmon pink & covered in a faux gold look with chandeliers hanging from the ceiling & a grand piano in the foyer - it looked like Liberace's powder room. But if you could overlook the obscenely over the top decor (you felt like you were in the boardroom on the set of Dynasty & Alexis Colby/Carrington was going to burst through the door at any moment screaming "Sell ColbyCo!") the place ran like a well oiled machine. The service was extremely professional & friendly & I don't ever remember waiting for a doctor longer than 30 minutes. Nowadays, it's a pretty grim picture. Like everyone else has said there's at least a 2 hour wait, often longer; I've even tried to come at odd times like 1 and a half hours before closing thinking it would be quieter and the place is fully booked out with just 2 doctors on duty (sometimes only 1). And on 1 occasion in the last 6 months I came in on a weekday in the middle of the day, begrudgingly but nevertheless fully prepared to wait my 2 hours only to find out that there were no doctors at all on duty. The staff at the desk were telling patients they didn't know when there would be a doctor and to make other arrangements and basically just leave! The demographics of the area has changed dramatically over the last 10-15 years and a lot of new immigrants from overseas have moved into the area & chosen this medical centre for their families, which is great. The problem is though that when this huge influx of new patients came into the medical centre instead of expanding their services & staffing levels to meet the new demand they seem to have gone in totally the opposite direction. They may have initially increased their staffing resources to meet the demands but it has been a slow and steady decline in all respects over the last 10 years or so. Hence the at minimum 2 hour plus waiting time at present. I try to avoid the place now; it's only real drawcard for me had been the extended & late opening hours, but now even that has become useless as you still have to get there at least 2 hours before closing otherwise there's no point as you won't be able to get in because they're full. As one of the other posters said there are are plenty of other excellent doctors in the area who provide great service in a timely manner. I've tried to encourage my parents to go elsewhere as they are both in their 70's and I worry for them having to wait for so long; especially since their health is not the best. It's a lot more taxing for someone of that age to have to wait 2 to 3 hours to be seen. People seem to forget, or not understand or just don't care & I have seen staff behind the desk be less than compassionate on more than one occasion, and not just with my parents. I don't know why they put up with it myself - I guess they have been going there that long & all their medical history & records are with these doctors. People tend to be more averse to change as they get older.

At 3pm one day this week there were 2 doctors rostered, one was appointments only and was booked out, the other doctor already had 11 people waiting, which meant at least a 2-3 hour wait. I had been going there since it was opened by Dr Edelstein, he tried to make the environment pleasant and ensured people were comfortable while they were waiting to see a doctor. It's not that long ago there were at least 4 doctors on duty during the day. Now there are more management and reception staff than doctors. Do the new owners think the remaining doctors can be efficient while coping with such a huge workload? There are plenty of other doctors in Merrylands who aren't working under such pressure.

2 hr's to see a doctor was disappointing. Only 1 doctor was consulting but spent a lot of time chatting to the receptionist between patient's. It appears to have all the services ie X-ray room and other convenient specialists in the building but booked out for weeks so only go there is you have a couple of hours to spare.
