i've been to melina a few times for lip and brow wax. she did a great job and was super friendly. highly recommended!

Melina was really lovely. The salon is clean and in spite of it being above a busy road I was thoroughly relaxed, I even started to drift off into a light sleep!
The deluxe facial was just great. I liked the way Melina asked me what I was concerned about, and she was really positive, she didn't listen and then say "WELL what you'll need is blah blah blah" she explained what she thought would be beneficial, but assured me that my skin wasn't as bad as what I thought!
The whole experience was fantastic and when I left there was no pressure to re-book, she suggested I see how my skin reacts to the facial and we can go from there which made me feel really comfortable, and for someone like me who hates feeling pressured, it means I'll return!
My skin feels really good. My hairdresser saw me immediately afterwards and even he commented on how fresh my skin looked, despite it being a bit red from the extractions and treatments. I've had many facials in the Melbourne city area over the years and Melina's was as good as the most expensive ones I've had, yet her price is very reasonable.
Just remember to enter the Hour Glass (watch shop) building- not the building next door (the Thai airways one)!

Upon entering Pink Orchid, I was greeted by the very lovely salon owner, Melina Cadman.
She led me to the beauty room where we had a brief chat about business, which on the day were - My eye brows!
Being the first time meeting with Melina, I made sure I had a quick squizz and check out what her eyebrows were like! If they were anything like the 80's tadpole shape or overly tweezed brows I would have made an excuse to exit the building! Hehe.
To my delight, I saw perfectly beautifully shaped brows that had me at ease.
I layed myself on the waxing bed where she thoughtfully asked me what and how I liked them done and without any objection, she proceeded with my instructions.

And wah la!
About ten minutes later, my eye brows where clean, neat, tidy and beautiful.
Not one hair was out of place and the result?
A very happy customer!

As I stepped off the waxing bed I noticed her sanitize the tweezers straight away and that was even more comforting to see the high standard of hygiene present throughout the store.

I would strongly recommend Melina's Salon to anyone out there especially those pedantic as myself when needing the services of a truly skilled professional beauty therapist.

So convenient to work, Melina is so talented. She took the time to talk to about what I was concerned about with my skin. She showed me products that can get the best from my skin.
I had a spray tan in there, and without a doubt that was the best colour that I have had- no orange, no streaking! Fab!
