Such an awsome location and always nice to relax there. Service can be slow and sometimes you feel they're rushing you along. Foods yum but can be s little pricey.

I love everything about Burnham Beeches. The site is picturesque. Chickens roam the property, darting between the seating in the outdoor area, Alpacas, pigs, rabbits and emus happily wander the grounds, greeting guests. But, most importantly the food is absolutely delicious. The prices have risen slightly and its no longer as good value as it once was. Very worth a visit, and we do so weekly with our kids in tow.

The Piggery is just "WOW"! The setting is gorgeous and it's lovely to wander the grounds (they are dog friendly too which is a massive plus for me!). Food, service and coffee all second to none. The fresh bread and pastries are alone worth the trip.

By far our favourite place to drop in to for a bite. The afternoon tea is our favourite, offering a selection of tbeir incredible desserts. They also offer picnic baskets, burgers, rolls and a great space for kids to run free. Ingredients are local and meal prices are a bit steep for how small they are, but it is quality and you need to weigh that into the picture. Definitely don't leave without dessert.

High quality coffee and great scrambled duck eggs served on a delicate brioche. A beautiful open air cafe this side of the Mount Dandenong Ranges, it was a great experience

Not worth the drive. So much hype about a cold concrete building, with very poor acoustics and seating. Lunch hamburgers overpriced and small. Chips reheated, unpeeled potato. All served on glazed terracotta plates..chipped, or cold white enamel, camping plates. Is that supposed to be trendy?

Wow, what a find! A cafe and bakery all in one. We visited for breakfast and enjoyed the scrambled eggs on sourdough and the avocado, goats cheese and sourdough. We also purchased a loaf of sourdough to enjoy for the rest of the day. I would have no hesitation in recommending this place to others. There are amazing things to come for this site including a steakhouse, microbrewery, chicken run and even lawn bowls and croquet on the lawn! I would recommend getting there nice and early around 9am when it opens on the weekends as the swarms of customers will be right behind you.

As a local, I can only say that Piggery Cafe has added another dimension to "popping out for a quick coffee"! Very trendy! With enough parking, great location, very tidy gardens, you know you going to enjoy the experience. Have been there twice and have experienced consistent good service. The food looks delicious! Only observation is that I don't like the uncovered salads on display where you have to pay.

Have been to the Piggery Café 3 times now.
Service has been so variable on each occasion.
The food is absolutely delicious.
I'm not sure why, but they have all their salads uncovered on a counter near the register, where customers queue to buy takeaway and pay their café bill. I've seen elbows brush the plates on the way past, and customers coughing right near them- kinda gross.
The Vahlrona hot chocolates are to die for, although if rich, bitter chocolate is not your thing, they might not be for you.
Love the accompanying house made marshmallows.

Shannon Bennett in .... the hills. The hills in this case being Sherbrooke/Dandenongs. Amazing.
I went and loved it. Top quality yet simple food. Bread rolls heartily stuffed and overflowing with quality ingredients in interesting combinations. No need to pack a picnic anymore when visiting the dandenongs. Just bring a basket and fill it with stuff at Piggery!!
The in-house menu is great too. A select menu that features a soup special, range of gourmet salads, platters, burgers etc. The setting is lovely - a blend of contemporary warehouse & country farmhouse.
