I went here with a date and it feels very "Olinda" inside, wooden little tables, the girl that served us was really friendly, we made orders for a steak and mushroom pie and a standard meat pie. The pastry was crumbly and delicious and the feeling hot and flavoursome.

Cute location, creative name and good prices. We will go back.

Can always rely on a delicious pie here, so delicious. I use to go here quite often when my family was living in Victoria, wasn't too far from where we lived. We still visit and enjoy a pie or cake whenever we are back in Melbourne visiting family. There pies are out of this world, best pies in Melbourne!

Always so packed out ... but not surprising because their pies are EXCELLENT! Great location too in amongst some fantastic shops.

we love their food. we always go here for scones and for their beef burgundy pie, it is so good and well priced. LOVE!

Tasty pies, can get a bit pricey but they're a lot better than buying supermarket or even other barkery pies.
Lots to choose from, eat in or take away available.
Got takeaway as it was packed and it took awhile to get served as there were only one or two attendants on. Service was satisfactory.

There's something about Olinda/Sassafras that always keeps my hubby and I going back (about 2 - 3 times per year) and every time - I mean EVERY TIME - we always get a pie from Pie in The Sky! I've had their Pumpkin Vegetarian Pie and their Veg pasties - both HUGE and delicious. Hubby has had quite a few of their pies but says the absolute WINNER is the Beef & Cheese - he loves it!! You cannot go to Olinda without eating a pie from this place!!
