Outstanding! The food is amazing and very filling and the dessert is to die for! The staff were awesome and so friendly, Could not fault them at all! Loved the mexican vibe. Will definitely be going back again. Would reccomend it to anyone!

Pickled Cactus is by far the best mexican restaurant on the Gold Coast. From the exceptional food thats affordable & delicious, to Roz the owner offering the most friendliest service making your experience fantastic from start to finish. I would recommend anyone to go eat at Pickled Cactus and experience a little piece of Mexico right here on the Gold Coast.

Had a great night on Fri. We had a set menu for our work group. It was fun to sample the variety of food available. The atmosphere was fun, the food was delish and the the service was awesome! Would definitely recommend this place.

Best Mexican Restaurant in Queensland and dare I say the world. The atmosphere is amazing, they have an endless supply of sombreros and often the entire restaurant is wearing them when you walk in, even the shot glasses have a tiny cactus in the centre. It's all perfectly in theme. The food is first class, none of the messy slop you sometimes find at other mexican places, fresh healthy delicious eye catching food is well presented by Loz and her friendly staff who are attentive but not in your face. The thing I like most about this place is the fact that you can come casually, dressed up, have a romantic dinner for two or a birthday party for 10. Pickled Cactus is my favorite restaurant by a long shot and i'm so happy they're local. Favorite meals - Tostada el supremo (super healthy), Tortilla Stack (not so healthy but omg delish), and the classic fish taco, my mid week treat. The Mars Bar Chimichanga is also heaven if you have room to spare. Sangria to wash it all down or that cocktail with Tequila and grapefruit juice. The Pickled Cactus comes with my highest recommendation.

THIS IS THE BEST!!dont bother going to any other mexican restaurants, this little gem is the one. They have the freshest and tastiest food, excellent service and atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble. I wanted my meal chilli hot and boy did I get it!! Shut Up sauce is made in houe and truely amazing..The "Y" sauce had to have an indemnity signed before they would serve it to me and now i know why..My partner doesnt like chilli but this little restaurant serves all meals anyway you like them, mild, med, hot, xxhot or indemnifiable!! got for it you wont be disappointed. Love you guys

Fantastic service and such wonderful help from the staff for the suprise dinner i was organizing! Everyone was happy with the atmosphere and the food was yum...........the margaritas were even better :)

My wife and I attended this great Mexican Restaurant last Wednesday night and what a delight it was to be there. The staff were friendly and actually appeared to be happy in their work (an unusual observation of late) The owner was a delight to speak to and the food was better than i have had anywhere in Australia and for that matter during a week long stay all over Mexico. We WILL be back and we WILL bring others with us. Thank you for a lovely night.
