A friendly pet store with great service. I'm a regular customer and they've helped me time and again choosing products. My dog has allergies and after many expensive vet visits the staff at Peteorks suggested we try a preservative free dog food and it has resolved my dog's skin problems completely.

When I walked in the door with my 2 children I was swooped upon by who I assume was the owner/manager and offered assistance. After explaining what I was seeking I was then pointed in the direction of 2 junior assistants who were standing close by. I then had to explain AGAIN what I wanted to buy.

I wasn't offered any alternatives, I wasn't given a chance to browse the store, I bought 2 flea control products for the jaw dropping price of $120! I felt completely ripped off and after searching the internet I can source these products elsewhere for $75.

I felt uncomfortable the entire time I was in the store. I like the products were thrust upon me with no discussion on how to use them, no opinions on their effectiveness and I walked no further than 6 steps into the store.

I will NOT be going back.

This is my favourite local petstore. It's clean (unlike some of the local stores) and huge and always has lots of pets to look at. There's an area for puppies, kittens, birds (including chooks sometimes) plus smaller animals. They sometimes re-home animals that the owners can't keep. They also have a big range of food and accessories and friendly staff.

I needed to buy some food for my dog, I had tried the varieties from the supermarkets and felt that my dog needed a better quality food. The friendly staff told me alot about dog food and recommended a balanced dog food.
