Only giving two stars as I know this company has good employees, just my overall service tonight was poorly handled. Called earlier in the afternoon today asking if I could house a turtle and suckermouth catfish together, which I was told that it’s risky but possible as long as the catfish and turtle were somewhat compatible. From previous research I already knew the risk, so I was happy to speak more with them about which catfish would be suitable. Went on to organise to come in to speak about which turtle I was getting and which catfish would be best. After driving 20-30 minutes to the store, I was ultimately told that catfish and turtles can’t be kept together. It was upsetting because I feel like I wasted my time when I could have been told this over the phone instead of driving the distance to get there. I’m leaving this review as I feel that employees should all be on the same page, as to not mislead customers and cause instances like this to happen again.

We just even take the kids for a couple of hours time out and just walk around and look at all the little animals. It's great prices for products as we'll. we just recently bought two new collars for our pups!! Cheaper than anywhere else and fantastic quality

We bought our dear little cockatiel from here, as first time bird owners we got heaps of advice and help. I haven't been able to find a better range of bird toys anywhere else. It's not my closest pet shop but I make the effort to shop there when I can as I know I will find everything I need. The staff that I have dealt with are very knowledgable and have an obvious passion for their own pets.

Every time that I have visited Pet City it has been very clean, the staff are always happy to help you and answer questions that I may have. And if the person I am speaking to is unsure of something then they will ask for further assistance rather than fobbing me off. I have found their pricing to be on par with other pet shops I have been to.

Pet City is gigantic local institution which has been around for decades. In addition to the usual dogs, cats and fish, they also have rats, guinea pigs, birds (including chickens), snakes, lizards and all the requirements to go along with these animals (food such as frozen mice, live crickets etc). Staff are always very knowledgable and helpful within the departments. They also have a VIP membership which entitles members to at least 10% off stock, including pet food, as well as other special discounts. Opening hours are extremely generous and there is also a hydro bath, groomer and puppy preschool.

I use their online store to purchase cat toys - they have a good variety of toys that can be difficult to find in other pet stores. Good prices on delivery. Sometimes delivery takes a while longer compared to other online pet shops that I have dealt with.

I have a 'giant breed' dog, two cats, four birds and an aquarium. I only ever use Pet City for products for my animals, the have a huge range of food and not many other stores stock the 'royal canin' brand I buy for the dog and cats. Loyalty program is fantastic. Definately recommend to all pet lovers!

Shop is so much nicer since the renovation and nicely airconditioned. Animal cages are always very clean. Great improvement on the aquarium section.

Great store with a massive range of items for all types of animals. Its a bit pricey if you're not a member of their store, and they don't have many dogs/cats/small fluffy pets for sale - but plenty of fish and birds!

Good range of products and very helpful staff. Convenient off street parking however it can be quite busy at times.
