This place is great seafood dining option in Southside Canberra. The restaurant is comfortable although not very big. Their meals designed for sharing are much better value than their individual serves. A little on the expensive side but an enjoyable dinner.

My son and grandson took my wife and I to the Peppered Prawn for Fathers Day. In days gone by. our top seafood destination used to be Con's Seafood at Mawson. Con's gone, and not forgotten, but the Peppered Prawn willl now be our seafood destination of choice. The owner spent time with us discussing the food options, and how they were cooked. He checked in during the meal to see that everything was going well. The food was excellenmt. We all had different dishes, and all enjoyed them very much. We'll be back!

We have been meaning to try this place out for ages. Tonight we did. Small inside but there is outside dining which would be great in the warm weather but they assured me they have really good heating out there. Seafood was really well cooked and very good. Service was friendly and prompt. Bit pricey but ok compared to other Canberra restaurants of its type.
