very budget accommodation with nothing special about it whatsoever. the rooms were dirty. the foxtel didn't work. half the lights didn't work. when checking in the person on the desk was friendly. only stayed one night and wouldn't return.
my family and i love to go their and it is a thrilling place for a celebration or just for dinner. i would reccomend this place to anyone that has kids or a reletive that loves to have drink once in a while
The television is very old and unwatchable. I spoke to the guy at reception at about 8am, he said he'd get it fixed. Got back to the room at about 830pm and it was still the same TV and was still unwatchable. I even wrote this on the booking system as it happened last time I stayed there and the lady said they're replacing them all, yet 3 months later still the same issue. Unsure if I'll stay again at this stage.
Approximate cost: $140
While not the most attractive of hotels, it is the service, price and features of each room that make this hotel stand on its own. Sure, the Chifley and Grey Gums are good, but the service is inferior to that which I experienced at the Penrith Valley Inn, even when calling quite late for a check-in! Really understanding staff with some great tips for the area. Great price, and very close to the Penrith CBD and Westfield shops. Will be back!
My family and I have stayed here twice and have loved it both times. Rooms are clean and tidy, foxtel is free and customer service is great! The rooms are air conditioned and both times we got one with a bath. The staff will gladly show you the room before you decide if it is suitable or not.
Approximate cost: $110per night
