Hi I bought my first pair of Kakkaraki parrots,I was nervous in having such beautiful birds but John gave me all the advice I needed in rearing them,I am a regular visitor there,they don't pressure you to buy or leave if your not buying,the environment is very family oriented the birds are beautiful and Pam and John are the best,the help I got and welcome feeling with any problem is amazing thanks Verna

Just bought my first ever finches, and am so glad I went to this place. These two were so patient with all of my questions, taking whatever time was required to assist (as they did with other customers). Very clearly "know their product"!!

well Pam and John were very helpful, l had bought a lovebird somewhere else. Took this bird to pam and John, and straight away john told me he was a she, then to my shock he told me my bird was sick.John said she was still a good bird and told me what meds to give her.Bought another female, now they are mates, healthy, happy.John talked to me for ages about the birds and helped with answering all my questions.Wish there were more people that are as helpful. He even put my bird in with others to test temperament,hows that for service and reassurance . Many thanks John and Pam.

I bought a baby budgie for my daughter today and the service here was amazing! The lady who helped us talked us through the whole process and explained everything to my 6 year old daughter in a kind and gentle and fun manner. Each budgie was tested for temperament before committing to purchase and we were shown how to handle and train him, our bird came with a care booklet, seed, a small toy and a health/temperament guarantee. Don't go anywhere else if you want to buy a bird, this is the place to go.

I know nothing about keeping pet birds, but I needed to replace my Mother in Laws budgie. Pam and John gave me plenty of time to chose a bird, and to ask all of my questions on the day, and again a follow up phone call. Knowledgable and friendly people. It was a pleasure, and the birds seem happy.

The best place to get birds, seed, toys, books and great advice given by Pam and John. They are only too happy to help with your concerns about your birds, highly recommended. We have been going to this shop for years, would never go anywhere else.

Both John and Pam are great they're not trying to make a quick dollar at the expense of the bird or the customer all the birds I have purchased are healthy and very quick to breed. The most important aspect of Peninsula Bird World is their after sale service, they are never to busy to spend time and talk. This shop is filled with all the modern facilities but provides the old style of service where the customer is valued as a person. I refuse to shop anywhere else this is the perfect shop for how love their birds.

loud and happy. It was colourful but the birds were the best. I liked the cocky out the front. He was extremely nice and polite saying hello. I think the birds are trained well. Angus the big black bird was a friend I liked. It is a friendly bird store.
