Delicious food and a really simple way to order. Love this place and would highly recommend it for a casual meal.

The overall experience I have is average. One time I went there and the food was really good but the another time it's disaster. I will never go there again.

I walked in expecting some decent food, maybe a bit of hospitality but instead i got the most delicious food with the perfect balance of spices! the owners came and greeted us and were extremely polite! an excellent place to go for delicious cuisine and excellent hosts. cheers.

The authentic malay food deserves 4 stars but service barely passed... Just came back from Papparich and decide to write a review. Yummy roti but a bit on the oily side. Curry can be quite spicy so I ordered a ice coffee with coffee jelly which was tasty. Sadly the customer service was horrific even though we sat right next to the kitchen pass through! No napkins/water until we asked, pretty dirty bowls so watch out for that. The value was so-so.

Go there almost every week. they changed their menu recently. char kway noodles and nasi lemak very good. roti banana is a great addition to their dessert menu. but the roti takes a long time to make. not as good quality roti as mamak. but most of the food here is very good. very efficient service. they have the same songs playing every time we go there. they need to mix up the music a bit.

Thanks, I might give this place another go since the menu has now changed.

I have been here approx. 5 times with my husband and tried several different dishes. The food is very authentic Malaysian but the price says otherwise if you are customer or aware of what the food cost in Malaysia. Hence the way I personally see it, is not a great value.

It is a big restaurant and once you are seated and given a menu, the staff will ask whether you have dined there before. If not, they will explain the procedure for ordering. There is a small docket where you write your own orders, quantities of the meals and if there is any special notes. Once ready, you can ring the bell on the table and staff will come to collect the order docket from you.

I have tried their roti canai with chicken tandoori, very nice and fluffy, chicken was full of flavours, it comes will different dipping sauce including sambal which I find a bit sweet to my liking but still very yummy.

Pappa Fried Magee Mee (fried egg noodles) was not too bad but I find it a bit too sour and not as good as the one I have had overseas in Indonesia or Malaysia. The dry egg noodles with curry chicken was very nice and would recommend. The dessert roti was good but don't have a lot of selections in my opinion.

Agreed with the value part as a great chicken rice costs $3 in singapore!! So can't really compare like that in the end.

I discovered this place recently after seeing the massive long lines every night. I gave it a go and was not disappointed. Value for money is fantastic. A very fulling rice dish with 4 different flavours for under $14 is amazing. The flavours can be quite spicy so ordering a cheap drink is an easy option. THe customer service is not that great because there are heaps of people so they are often quite stressed out. Keep in mind because this is a very popular place, you could be waiting 20 minutes or so on a Friday/Saturday night.

That sounds like a very good deal indeed!

Driven past here a few times know and everytime has been the same, always a massive long line of people waiting to get inside. So I decided to join the queue, boy what a wait! You can wait anywhere between 30 minutes up to an hour or more for a table, even at opening times a friend and I arrived and there were already about 15 people in front of us. This place must be good!

They have an ordering system here, you basically have the menu listed on a block pad, where you select the dishes you wish to order, fill in the form and once you have decided you simply press the green button on what almost look's like a computer mouse and someone will come to the table and pick up your order.

We ordered roti canai, char kwai teo, crispy egg noodles with seafood - all to share. Personally I enjoyed the crispy noodles with seafood and the roti canai - soft doughly bread dipped into two different curry sauces but for me the char kwai teo ( stir fried thick rice noodles) with beef lacked flavour and i had to add a whole heap of chilli sauce in order for it to be palatable.

With it's dark walls, minimal bare table settings, ceiling fans and tiled floors. It has an open style kitchen where you can see your food being prepared.

The reasonable prices, vast menu and food keeps many people coming back! The queue was still long and trailing down the street as we left . Definitely a popular place with the locals! Will definitley be back to try the biryani fried chicken which was quite a popular choice with the diners, it did look really good!
