I love the food here, some of it is overpriced for what you get but the pancakes are always amazing. They have great pizzas and the ribs are my favourite dish, they are cooked to perfection. I don't think they are that affordable and you can get just as good a meal somewhere else for cheaper but if you're going for the pancakes it is well worth it. Nice cocktails. Usually very busy so it can be hard to get a seat at dinner sometimes and the staff aren't as friendly or talkative as most other restaurants as they always seem too busy.

I went here a few weeks ago, the food was okay, it was just very dull and the workers were hard to find when i wanted to pay etc, overall, it was ok, food was fine, just a dull environment i guess,

Approximate cost: $15

I love dining at Pancakes on the Rocks for a great and quick meal, sometimes for the pancakes only or for the pork ribs and chicken caesar salad. I had a buy one get one free meal voucher from the Entertainment book so Hubby and I came a few weeks ago to dine whilst the kids were at school. It wasn't too busy when we came and were seated by the table opposite the telly.

We both ordered the pork ribs with salad and wedges marinated in BBQ sauce and a chicken caesar salad to share for $15.95 and drinks to accompany the meal.Meals didn't take long to arrive, but when I asked the mail water a few times for napkins, was really frustrating as he kept walking past the table with no napkins. In the end, I asked another waiter who apologised and brought more napkins.

Was an enjoyable movie, service was ok except the napkin incident. Clean and tidy, will happily dine again finishing with pancakes for dessert next time!

Approximate cost: $25.95

Pancakes... what more could you want? This place is amazing! The food is always up to standard. Great for breakfast, lunch or dinner! I love that they open early in the morning so you can go in for early morning breakfast! I always get treaded kindly here.

Haven't had a problem with the food or service yet! Only had one mistake which was quickly resolved by good service. I just wish you could book in advance.

I have been to Pancakes on the rocks many times - both in Northmead and the city. I love going here because it is reasonably cheap, the food is tasty and the pancakes always taste delicious.

The last time I went was at the above establishment - Northmead. I have never been so unpleased, disgusted and unhappy at a chain like this one.

My partner and I ordered a few dishes one being a chicken and bacon pizza. The pizza was out on our table within ten minutes of ordering it. I was a tad confused - the restaurant was busy, it had came too quick and I thought they had made a mistake. Anyhow, the pizza was probably the worst pizza I have ever seen let alone tasted. It was missing one of the main ingredients -bacon. The pizza was covered in cheese and was only partially melted- I mean there was more cheese than pizza base. The pizza looked as though it had been cooked in a microwave - it was soggy and the base was wet.

I approached the waitress and she apologized. I stood there a few moments waiting for her to take the pizza away for the chef to inspect it. She just said sorry and walked off. When I went to pay I asked to speak to the chef - I wanted to award him the medal of cooking the worlds worst pizza - he/she was busy.

I received no compensation except an embarrassed waitress saying sorry.

I will return here because every other time was near perfect (4/5). I will however never order a pizza here again.

Approximate cost: $4.90-$21.90

Over priced for pancakes. More of a novelty than anything else. Other food is ok, nothing I would rush back for. The ribs were tasty but over priced considering how small they were.

If your in the city I guess the price is average but when your in northmead Im sure you could find better food at this price.

quality of the food is similar to the one at the rocks in the city but no where near as good. The service is very average and the prices are the same as the city so for a location in northmead the prices should be little bit less. Also the place is not that very clean and they dont have many people working like the city location
