Fast service is the only good comment I can make about my take away order from here. Have tried their take away only once and can say there will not be a second time. The chips were soggy/oily yet the potato cakes seemed overcooked - dry. My husband tried one of their burgers and was disappointed, saying we make better ones at home. Maybe they were having an "off" day, but I am not willing to take another chance.
Bought fish and chips for ourselves and grandchildren and was very disappointed with the way the fish was cooked. A little overcooked and extremely greasy and oily. The oil just dripped of the fish which was a pity as the fish itself was nice and fresh. We ended up removing the batter. The chips were very nice. I think more staff may be the answer as one person was in the store on a very busy day at the beach
I have also experienced this here, I found the chips to be oily/soggy. Wont be returning.
their fish batter sounds horrible and way too greasy. won't be buying fish and chips from this take out place.

Neither am I - very disappointing
Hi Shazzbot1, thanks for another well written review. In this day and age, there is no excuse for serving â??greasyâ?? takeaway. Cooking fried food is really quite simple, ensure that your oil is adequately heated before emersion and drain well after cooking. Itâ??s really that simple! Thanks for your comments. Reeces
Walked past this store on the weekend and it was not operating on that day. Maybe not operating at all now. I don't know. The cafe next door sold us an iceblock. Were looking for icecream cone for granddaughter
