Quality fruits and vegetables . So much other thing that we can't get from supermarkets. They go high protein ice creams . People come from all over Melbourne.

I shop here every month. The food is fresh, and the staff usually helpful. There are 5 kg bags of potatoes local to our district - from Gembrook. These are the brushed variety, and used to sell for $1.99 but jumped to $3.99. I realise the supplier may well have increased his price, but this seemed a large retail increase.

I agree with a previous poster - there are discount tables down the end - as you're walking towards Coles. Have had some really good specials there, including 5 kgs of washed potatoes for $1.99. Have had that deal a few times, so it's worth checking out what they have available.

At the other end, they have whole pumpkins for $3 each. Naturally one stops to look for the biggest - seeing as they are the same price. Once I did that, took it inside, only to see much larger pumpkins added to the "all of these $3 each" display as I was completing my transaction. I reacted to what I was seeing, and hoped the woman at the counter would say -

Well, as a regular customer, if you want to change that pumpkin over for one of the newer, bigger ones, go ahead,

but she didn't.

Disappointing.

If I'd been there 5 minutes later I'd have had about twice as much for my money.

Alot of the groceries here are of great quality. The staff are helpful & shop is always stocked well. The store is old so looks a little dingy but they always have great clearance tables which can make a great shop even cheaper. Have purchased here many times & they have a loyalty program here where you earn points to get discounts off of shopping trips.

High quality fruit and veg much better than the supermarkets, great range of juice sauces and pasta. Lovely staff

im very happy shopping here. they always have fruit and veg at reduced prices or quick sale, and still in good-great condition. its only a small store, but they have lots of produce in stock. they have huge crates out the front of the shop filled with seasonal produce. i think last time i went there i got 1kg carrots for 60 cents, plus chose my own "restaurant blend" salad for cheaper than buying at supermarket
