An average sort of restaurant. Nice ambience but service was slow. Food was okay, but pricey for the quality. Very mainstream type of dishes that you could get anywhere. I got a pasta carbonara with prawns.

This was my first visit to Paesano's and while it did not disappoint it wasn't OMG either. I had the pasta with prawns, mushrooms and bacon and it was lovely but not addictive. The service was hit and miss as the wait staff often needed reminding of things ordered or requested (a bowl for example). However on the plus side we had a number of children and they were very patient and offered pencils for the kids. The BIGGEST PLUS was we had brought our own birthday cake and they cut it and provided plates etc with NO extra charge - very unusual. I would go back

Paesano serve the most delicious pizzas, pastas and calzoni, dessert too, but honestly we've always eaten so much pizza and pasta that we've never had room for dessert!
There's seating upstairs & downstairs and some outdoor seating in warmer weather. Corkage for BYO wine is very cheap, $2 a bottle i think. The service is excellent and the prices very reasonable. They do takeaways too.

Great gourmet pizzas, and oh God, the desserts - hard to make a choice, but the Forbidden Apple (think that was the name) was to die for.
A little small, but recently renovated to provide a bit more space. Overall, a great place, can't wait to go back.

Friendly welcome accompanied by that appetizing smell of garlic greets you as you enter this very popular pizza and pasta restaurant in West Hobart. This part of inner city Hobart only has a few places to eat and drink in, so the people who live around here support their local businesses with gusto, especially when the food tastes as good as it does here.
Recent renovations have allowed more and more flexible seating spaces and Diane, the co- owner with her Italian husband, couldn't be a more gracious host. And so much parking when compared with North Hobart!

Paesano is a very popular Italian restaurant and take away which does pizza and pasta.
The staff are very helpful and friendly and the food tastes nice.
They have some tables downstairs and a new extension upstairs.

They aren't open on Monday nights.
