We have been seeing Nadine with our son since he was 6 years old and he is now 13. He has hyper mobile joints and has found the fine motor coordination required at school difficult. Nadine has been fantastic with him, not only in the intervention and programmes that have been implemented, but also in keeping him motivated during therapy. As school teachers ourselves, we are very impressed with Nadine's understanding of the school system in relation to our son's condition and her willingness to work with both his primary school and now high school, where necessary.

My son has been seeing Nadine at OT 4 Kids since he was 2 years old. He is now 6 and at kindergarten and we still attend appointments regularly with Nadine. We have seen so many professionals over the last 4 years and one word to describe some would be 'disinterested'. In Nadine nothing could be further from the truth. She has worked with us through some very rough behaviour patches, is unfailingly interested in the best interests of her clients, and stays in touch when there are circumstances that have prevented regular appointments. Her flexibility and willingness to work with my child as an individual with unique needs is just one of the reasons I am thankful I found a therapist like her. Apart from these very good reasons, I also like Nadine as a person of the highest integrity and ethics. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her. In all professional relationships with therapists, it takes two parties to make it work - the therapist and the client/s.

I have twin boys diagnosed with autism & they have been seeing Nadine since they were 3andhalf and they are now 11 years. Nadine has had a huge impact on the boys development. The boys advancement has been more than we ever expected. Nadine has shown our boys nothing but compassion, patience, support and love. Our boys look forward to seeing Nadine and completing the tasks she sets. Nadine shows a passion and gift for dealing with our special boys that is not that common in someone so young. Nadine has become a valued member of our boys development and for this our family is forever grateful. I would recommend her services without hesitation. I tried the public system and was disappointed with the service and feel the money for private lessons is definitely well spent. I have been working with Occupational Therapist and Speach Therapist and also Pschyologist for over 8 years and like any parent I want to give the best to my children and with this service I know I am.

My son sees Nadine and Julie every week and I am very happy with his progress. They have formed a good relationship with him and he feels comfortable going. They accept the Facsia funding making it affordable for us to take our son every week and they are courteous professional in the way in which they deal with appointments. I would have no hesitation in referring them to other parents.

I have been taking my son there for about 8 months, since he was diagnosed with Autisim, and not only does he love it, he looks forward to going.

He has improved a lot since going to OT for kids, and for that I am most grateful.

He has two sessions in a day. One with Julie (Communcation) and one with Nadine (physical), and I always found them to be helpful, caring, courteous and professional. They always answer my questions, and I have nothing but respect for them.

I couldn't recommend the service highly enough.

As for the review about cancelling appointments, finances, and feeling let down. How many appointments did you cancel? Did you talk to them about any of this?

I agree with this statement-

"The previous review is so wrong with posting their negative review like they have.. to actually say they are only in it for the money is so untrue, if they were only in it for the money they would have been calling you every week to get you in for your appointments and charging you for cancellations, which they can do.. especially if the notice was given under 24 hours. To cancel several appointments due to "financial hardship" is not the therapy organisations problem, they are there to perform the great service they do and it's upto the client if they maintain the services for their child, can you imagine if therepists had to chase up all their clients? they'd probably never get to see clients. What more can one complain about, if they had've called them.. they probably would have complained about that too saying the therapist is harassing them and that they only want their money but just a heads up.. private services are NOT free, if you want free services go to Community Health. The first review is in my honest opinion unfair and incorrect. "

I have twin boys both of whom see Nadine from, OT-For-Kids, weekly. In the waiting room they are always fighting to see who goes in first. The kids have fun whilst they learn. Nadine has done a wonderful job with the boys. People who don't see the boys regularly, tell me they can see improvements in them. I must thank the boys Speech Therapist for recommending Nadine to us.

I am not always able to attend the boys sessions with my wife and Nadine has kept in touch with me via email and she sends home copies of work the boys have completed during their session. I have always found Nadine to be helpful in providing feedback and keeping me in the loop.

When my boys were first diagnosed with Autism, I tried the public system. I received a letter saying there was a 4 and a half year waiting list. The $65 that I pay Nadine is money well spent.

I have used money from my superannuation fund to pay for this and other services for my boys. Nadine provided quite comprehensive documentation which allowed the release of funds from APRA. Without her help I would not have been able to access my superannuation.

I would recommend Nadine to anyone looking for a good Occupational Therapist for their child. To say anyone working with special needs kids is doing if for the money, would be inaccurate.

When my boys first started with Nadine, they threw things at her, bit her, hit her and yelled and screamed at the top of their voices. I also remember when Nadine was having back pain but she still come to work with my boys.

It's unfortunate there isn't a lot of Govt assistance with fees but in my opinion, the fees being charged by Nadine, considering the effort she puts in, is fair and reasonable. I have compared prices with other therapists that's why I can say that.

Once again, I would say Nadine is someone I would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone.

My son has been attending this service for over a year now and has come along so much. He has a great relationship with Nadine his therapist and really tries hard for her. She is very caring and understanding, and has helped us immeasurably. She has offered us advice and has even been out to his school to assess what they can do to help him in the classroom and demonstrate to them his capabilities.
I know they really care about him and would highly reccommend this centre for occupational therapy. Very affordable! Very caring! Very worthwhile!
My son has autism and his therapist has been so understanding and caring with him (and us) as we all learn how to best help him cope.
I know they don't do it for the money - they really care about kids!

I absolutely love this service and for the 6 months my daughter and I have been with our therapist at OT for Kids, my daughter has progressed in leaps and bounds. We love our therapist and my daughter really likes her, I love the fact that she really connects with my daughter.

They are very professional, caring and they work very hard way beyond just what we see in the clinic. The fees are the lowest I have seen in my search of therapists, some places charge way more than this low price of $65 per half hour, I have actually seen upto $90 and that's just for half hour. I actually have not seen therapy any lower than $65, so in a sense they are charging the minimum which is very reasonable.

The previous review is so wrong with posting their negative review like they have.. to actually say they are only in it for the money is so untrue, if they were only in it for the money they would have been calling you every week to get you in for your appointments and charging you for cancellations, which they can do.. especially if the notice was given under 24 hours. I recommend this therapy service very highly and have recommended it to friends or people I have encountered.

My son attended for a while having half hour sessions and the occupational therapist picked up on a lot with him and helped him a bit.
But it's very expensive and after a few times of having to cancel appointments due to not having the finances to go ahead with the service the therapist did not call back to rebook a time when i did have the money so I feel let down by these profesionals it seems they are just in it for the money.
