Anne and David provided that rare commodity - real old-fashioned service. Mum passed away interstate and organising her funeral was so difficult, but the minute we employed Oakdale everything fell into place. Their communication was excellent, They happily accommodated our requests, showed sincere sympathy and understanding and made Mum's farewell all come together beautifully. The process was smooth and the day was a wonderful celebration of her life. I cannot recommend them too highly.

From the moment we contacted Anne at Oakdale we felt we were in the right hands to send our Mum off in the way we were looking for. Mum was 97 so we wanted to celebrate her life. Anne and David were professional, organised and showed warmth, compassion and understanding every step of the way.
The team that they put together to provide the catering, booklet and slide show were all excellent contributing to a wonderful celebration of Mum's life.
Anne did a great job as our Celebrant, we have had such positive feedback from everybody including from many people viewing via the live stream and we couldn't have been happier with how the service went.

We first used Oakdale last year for my brothers funeral. We cannot thank Anne enough for how she made the process so seamless. It was a difficult time with so many questions we had no answers for, Anne had the answers for many of our worries and led us to the answers of many more. Ultimately everything came together for the perfect sendoff, even down to the hotrod hearse, which was so fitting as my brother had owned a hotrod himself years before.
After that day my family decided it was a ‘no brainer’ that when the time come to say goodbye to our beloved mum that Anne would be the person to help us. Sadly that time came a few weeks ago and once again Anne helped us through this heartbreaking time. Mums funeral service was very different to my brothers but equally perfect.
My family cannot express how very grateful we are to Anne and David for their help and support to send off two of our very loved family members. We believe mum and my brother themselves would have absolutely loved their send offs.

We cannot speak highly enough about Oakdale and the assistance they gave us after dad's recent passing. Anne is a delight to work with, and was able to answer all our many queries, and help us from the first few moments after dad's passing, all the way through to choosing a venue and sorting out food and 'live streaming' arrangements. This company has it all, and does not charge the Big Guy prices, and at the same time you get warm, personalised service. How lucky we were to have found them.

Anne came to our house to organise our Mum's service and was absolutely lovely. Every thing was clearly explained, and many choices given. It was a new process to us, but we need not have worried, Anne was so helpful and kind. (In fact, phone calls from Anne in the days leading up to the service were so reassuring and eased the burden.)
Our service was beautiful, it ran so smoothly, and was exactly was we wished for.
