The receptionist and the manager are rude and abusive
I always see dr Thai Lim but they banned me for no reason and they make excuses on why my husband can’t come in

I became a patient at NC in 2011 after moving states. My fav doc moved to the NT so started seeing Dr. Dutton and she is so kind and helps me with everything from asthma to trans related prescriptions. I've moved all around from Ringwood to Footscray and the 1+ hr on public transport is totally with it! Their psych Ben is also the loveliest. I always recommend to any queer friends looking for a GP.
Dr Lim and Dr Ruth McNair are also great and every nurse is perfect.

Irene the practice manager and John the receptionist are abusive. They both follow a pattern of behaviour where they mistreat patients then cover it up. They've done this to multiple patients. This place needs to be shut down.

Receptionist John was extremely rude and did not listen and denied me booking an appointment messed on incorrect fees he was trying to charge me when I am already covered by a TAC account

Terrible attitude and hung up on me when I tried to tell him he was in fact wrong.

Dr Richard Moore is my GP since 2010. He is a breath of fresh air amongst average GPs that I have seen before. Punctual, respectful, compassionate, academically curious gentleman. He has never shown any negativity even when he is tired. He takes time to read notes before, or his memory is great. He listens to patient feedback even if my comments aren't parallel to expected outcomes utilising allocated time . He bulk billed me all along my uni years. When he has been away, I was seen by four other youngsters. Only Thai Lim was outstanding, others were downright dismissive, negative and not worth the hallmark of the clinic. Richard, Jeff, Thai Lim and nurse Lisa as well as Andrew at the Reception amongst others that I have not come across in deed offer a great service to community.

I've been a patient at Northside for almost 2 years. I can't believe the difference between all the other doctors surgeries I've been to in the past and this place. I see my GP fairly reguarly and have only had to wait more than 5 minutes for my appointment once. All the doctors and reception staff are very friendly and it feels like they truely care about their patients. Most doctors bulk bill if you're a regular patient too.

I've been visiting Northside since I arrived in the country, and it far outstrips any doctor's I've been to before. Throughout every visit there I've been treated with respect and genuine kindness, and they made what have been some horrible health issues almost a pleasure, haha. They specialise in LGBT healthcare, and when prescribing medication or referring you elsewhere take into account your circumstances, financial or otherwise.

Needed to see a doctor so my daughter recommended Northside. I was very pleased with the standard of care both by the clinic and the doctor. This will be my regular doctor in future. Only downside is that you can't always get in immediately if you need to see a doctor urgently.

I agree with other reviewers - this place is a cut above in the myriad of hopeless doctor clinics out there.

Dr. Richard Moore is my Doctor and he's great. He's patient and not at all one of those guys who nags you about drinking or being overweight. I know what I have to do to remain healthy and he knows that I do and then respects my choices but treats any ailment with understanding and thoroughness. He's a great bloke and after 6 years of visiting him 2-3 times/year I wont go anywhere else.
