A real gem. Tibetan cuisine is a rarity in Melbourne, and often overlooked or confused with the food of its neighbouring cultures. At Northern Soul, I think they do a pretty good job at delivering an authentic experience with the momos and dahl etc, at the same time they do have some 'normal' cafe options on the menu.
Coffee is of great quality here, as is the food. Much like other good quality cafes, nothing that stands out from the others, but one that you can depend on for a scrumptious meal around on High Street in Thornbury. Service is warm and attentive
very friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Delicious options for lunch and breakfast with outdoor seating as well. i went for a quick lunch while waiting for my washing across the road, the service was very quick.
