We recently stayed at the Shangri-La in Cairns & wandered down to the marina for breakfast. We ended up having a buffet breakfast at North. The food was fresh & different, with an asian theme, as well as all of the usual pastries & cooked breakfast ingredients. They also had a bar where you could order an omlette & they would add all of the ingredients you wanted & bring it out to you. The service was excellent, & the view over the marina, watching the boats go in & out was so relaxing. A great start to the day!
