Very pleased with my visit to Nocturnal Designs on Friday. Very helpful advice and I left with a comfortable bra that does not cause pain or discomfort to the Shingles rash on my back and the side of my torso. Thank You Josephine, I will be back. : - )

Nocturnal Designs are the most professional bra shop I've ever come across. I came in wearing a 10B bra and after my fitting I left with a very comfortable and flattering size 6D bra - these ladies know what they're doing! I've recommended them to all my friends...a great place to be fitted by professional bra fitters who are really lovely and passionate about their business. Great find!

Some stunning lingerie here - sizes go up to a j cup in some lines. It is a gorgeous new shop in Leichhardt with everything from very sensible pyjama sets and nighties to pure luxe bras and undies in silks satins with lacey bows and frou frou. They have maternity bras too, really lovely not the usual unattractive purely practical type. They also do fittings. It is not cheap though, so consider it an indulgence or put them on your Christmas list. I picked up some really cute soaps shaped like macaroons as a Christmas present and they were 19.95 exquisite scent. Have to say though they are over the top on the fittings and will not leave you alone to make a selection - they hound you around the shop and steered me away from just about every bra I liked. They also hound you in the fitting room and wont give you any privacy - every time I go in there they try to fit me again and wont leave me alone so that has really put me off - it's too much, I really hate not having privacy in the fitting room and having someone wanting to see how my undies fit. Ugghh.
Sorry to hear you feel that way however we never hound customers nor follow them around the store and certainly always allow privacy in the fitting room at all times. Nocturnal Designs are also stockists of Bassoni and Lovable lingerie which retail for 29.95 and 34.95 very affordable lingerie.
The only time a customer is followed around the store is when they behave in a suspicious manner - this a common procedure in all retail.

Re business owner comments. I was isited int he change room no less than 3 times. I did not ask for a fitting but the store assistant insisted on having a look at me in the bra she recommended. It was too tight around the waist and 1 cup size too big and she was adamant that was the correct one for me. As for the small business award - businesses can self nominate for them so they are no mark of customer respect. Perhaps business owners should note customer feedback rather than refute it with the implication the customer is somehow acting suspiciously because she does not like being seen in her undies by complete strangers or not being allowed to shop freely without interruption. I have not been into this store once since this experience because I strongly dislike pushy sales people who wont let me shop in peace. A simple hi do you need any help is enough.
I got fitted there last week and the ladies were so so helpful and informative, they weren't overstepping any boundaries at all...
