fantastic meal once again, great service always with a smile and great value , love the atmosphere of this place

Great value for money - good prices for large serves that are delicious! The bar staff are average though. Even so, I would highly recommend this place :)

Good casual restaurant to casually dine with a few friends, pay your own way so none of those stupid hassles with seperate billing etc. bad side is they don't take card so you have to pay cash but there is an ATM in the foyer that you can use. No table service either so get up order yourself etc. My fav here is the chilli mussels, they are so big they hardly fit on the table

Normally very good overall. The ribs are normally the best but last time was below average which has made me look for somewhere else for ribs

I have been a regular customer of Nicholson's for several years and have never really had a problem with their meals or their service. They are great value for money, large tasty meals and their staff are all fantastic - very friendly! Highly recommend this place!

Always so busy and I can see why! It's a bit annoying that you have to order at the counter but not really a problem. Lovely place to go for a Sunday lunch in the beer garden, just make sure you book in advance!

Went out to celebrate daughters birthday Monday night, Had a nice night and everyone enjoyed their meals, good pub food is how I describe this place.
Meals came out in a reasonable time considering how many people were dining (on a monday night..?)
Only Downside comments are that they do not have EFTPOS (ATM available in Entrance) which this day and age is really odd. Also the need to have to order meals at the front bar when you have been seated in the back room is a bit rough - no table service (We had one invalid who wanted to ask some questions relating the what they were going to order)

Beautiful steak served here. Didnt like how u had to order at the bar, but the staff were very friendly

Good pub-grub! Large portions. Never had a problem with service. Quite noisy on one side - often find myself having to strain to hear conversation at the other end of a long table. Otherwise food tasty, no complaints about service and good value for money.

Great food and friendly atmosphere, food was of a good quality and served in a timely manner by professional staff. Was a cosy family friendly resaurant although the noise level was excessive at times.
