I have just been told that the current owners are selling up after 28 years of lovely friendly service. Will be sorely missed.

Friendly and good service, good coffee but pretty average pies and cakes. Pretty conveniently located in the Hope Valley Shopping Centre, however.

Delicious food at great prices, their pies are just delicious and they make a fantastic cup of coffee too. Good value and nice to have a bite to eat with friends.

I found Neds when I moved to Highbury, I was finding it hard to find a baker who made decent Birthday cakes....Well their birthday sponges are beutuful to look at and better to eat...I also order a Christmas sponge as my family don't like fruit cake they are great..Also the Apple pies are delicious......The owners are more than happy to go out of their way to help you....If they don't have it they will advise you that they will take an order for you the day before I have done this for party quiches, party pies etc....also Cornish pasties...you will never eat Balfours again
