This is one the best places for cheap computer hardware. They have a wide range of products on offer but you would only come here if you know your stuff. There is an extremely small selection of products available for viewing, the rest isn't accesible. So you won't know if they have stock or whats available unless you email, phone or check their website. Service was poor - staff were no help at all, they just told me to check the catalogue on the computer at the front of the store.

Just like stabby said, this is 'THE' place, but only if you know your stuff and what you're getting. I'm sick of waiting in line for an hour with someone ahead on the phone asking his child 'they dont' have this, what should i get' or asking the service rep 'is this good?".

1. these guys are poorly trained in service. so they can't really help you.
2. there are too many customers in line and few guys at the counter, they cant' pick all the parts of your desktop for you.

So what am I saying ?
This is a great place if you really know what you're doing, but not such a fab, if you don't know much about computers and compatibility issues and what not.

recently they stopped answering their phone altogether. I asked them the last time I was there, they said they don't have enough staff to have someone pick up the phone.

I don't blame those guys, I blame the management.

Still a bargain if you're a bargain hunter and a knowledgeable person.

This is THE place to go for all your computer hardware and software needs. The prices are ridiculously low and the range of product is massive. Highly recommended for all computer enthusiasts.

When you go to MSY, you will find the customer area is DIRTY. They really can't be bothered with a vacuum cleaner for what looks like 5 minutes worth of work. You will wait for a while. Though, if you have ordered before hand, you will find the experience slightly better. There's no way to tell if they have stock of a product or not, apart from emailing them. They want you in and out as quick as possible, though its understandable. Good prices, though do your business and get out.

great prices, to many customers to lines tend to be long. however with cheaper then most prices who can complain. staff are knowledgabe and help a bit too so yay

The cheapest place to go for any computer hardwares in Sydney. Their prices are updated daily to match their competitors' prices so it's hard to beat them.
Don't like their website, they should hire a web designer to design it for them.

The shop is very small - and they only employ 3 - 5 people so it takes a while to serve 1 customer. They rarely answer any phone nor email enquiries, so we can only go to the store, choose the products and pay on the spot. I had a bright pixel problem on my brand new LCD monitor. I brought it back to the store in 3 days after I bought it and they replaced it with a brand new one. Totally recommended.

It is the best place to go for computer hardware. Something that is just in your budget. You can feel the Hugh price difference. I bought lots of computer accessories from them and haven't regretted once. Though you have to allow yourself at least 30 min in a queue.

Service is not their main priority, never has been and never will be. They have the cheapest prices for computer hardware. Phone attendance is non-existent and they are also slow to reply to e-mails.

These guys stock computer components you need at very competitive prices. However the downside is, as stated before, long waiting queues and minimal in-store customer service. Other than that, on a good day, they're hard to beat.

MSY is known for the cheap price, probably the cheapest in sydney. However, there is always a long queue and parts often are out of stock. I actually went to the store yesterday and noticed that they have put more service counters, so hopefully it will speed things up.
