He is worth the 1hr drive. It goes beyond service. I found the staff genuine, down the earth, polite and honest. The owner is the most optimistic person i've met.. ever. Very passionate about his work. The staff provided me with their undivided attention, worked together as a team to achieve a fantastic hairstyle. i am characteristically very indecisive, so this was a massive thumbs up for me. I like that they are willing to take risks if your willing to take risks, compared to other salons that would not experiment in fear of reputation. I could not fault this salon.
