Love going to this cinema! Shows some offbeat films, ones that you would not see anywhere else. Last time I was there they even had an interval with someone selling snacks from a booth inside the theatre - just like the old days. Great old building - well worth the trip.

Mt Vic Flicks is a small independent & delightful cinema. It is a step into the past with old fashioned decor, comfortable seats, lollies, icecreams and cups of tea/coffee are inexpensive, the films are varied and include special screenings. They call it 'Your Art House Cinema out of the City'. Its cosy, warm in winter, cool in summer and does not belong to a big cinema group. The people who run it seem to support social fundraisers and awareness raising films too, so people can book the cinema for a fundraising screening.
