Now car for my Family car travelling car

STAY FAR AS AS U CAN FROM THEM i know in court for 16.917 cause the car i got on loan with the st marys office rushed me to signing the contract and have me demand payment on the spot even when u have a disability they took that against me and had nothing but problems with the car and they repo it now its been since 2014 they still chaseing me for money
i suffer from mental health and now this has gone on to me its casuing me alot of stress i have to go to hospital cause of this

Personally I will never use nor recommend these guys to anyone no matter how desperate you might be for a car, like I was. if I had of realised what I was actually signing myself up for things would have definitely been different and I wouldnt have got any finance with them what so ever ! It wasnt the person who handled my application that I disliked but the finance company itself after loads of paper work I waited outside the office for literally hours before signing the final paperwork before choosing a car not only was I disappointed with the cars condition for what they were expecting me to pay for it, but it only lasted a year before completely dying on me the interest was so high I was expected to pay $20,200 for a car that's market value wasn't even $4,000 after paying $110 a week for 12 months when it stopped running I had finally had enough and told them to come and repo it from the side of the road where it broke down they still to this day continue to persue me for the remaining $14,000. Neither the cars nor the interest are worth it. As i dont belive the cooling off period is long enouh to judge whether or not your happy with the decision in purchasing. it has been the biggest regret and worst experience I have ever had with a business in my life I now own the exact same model car that I purchased for $600.00 cash for (because the owner was desperate to sell) over a year ago and it has been by far the most reliable car out of any car I have ever owned. It just goes to show research pay's off.

Hi Anniebombell, unfortunately, many consumers have suffered at the hands of this franchise and you can access some of the actual court cases on-line. Very dubious dealings indeed! Should you (or any ‘low-income’ earner) require financial assistance in relation to purchasing an automobile, we would suggest applying for an ‘interest-free’ loan via St. Vinnies. MFW is renowned for ripping off the most vulnerable amongst us and we would recommend staying well away. Regards, Reeces
