Monstrosity Gallery is a Sydney art gallery and artist-run contemporary art space nestled between debauched Kings Cross, beautiful Woolloomooloo Bay, and Sydney’s CBD, just 4 minutes walk from the world famous Art Gallery of NSW.

We aim to provide more than monetary value to young emerging artists working in painting, sculpture, illustration, new media, photography, jewellery, wearables, installation, street art and everything else, by supporting them and bringing them to the attention of the general public.

We also provide value to the art lover or collector who wants to buy something beautiful which will grow in value. So if you are an artist, or an art lover who doesn’t know where to begin to find the best in contemporary art, get in contact with us so that we can connect you to the people you’re looking for.

We’re also about inviting the community to engage with art in a more hands-on kind of way, so we run classes in life drawing, screenprinting,  photography and filmmaking. And be warned: film screenings, readings and a whole host of amazing things are waiting under the bed to shock and delight you.
