Amazing place, great location, delicious & reasonably priced food, though not a large menu to choose from.Decor is funky & alive if not a little noisy inside, tables outside for better weather & less noise. The staff were friendly & very efficient, quick service despite being a public holiday.
Give this place a try , a piece of trendy "Fitzroy" right in our own backyard !

Gorgeous home style dishes. We've stopped a few times here over the years. This time we had their freshly baked scones with jam and cream. The cream was real thick whipped cream (not out of a can). The place was busy so service at the counter was slow but once ordered we didn't have to wait too long. Interesting decor with a wall of secondhand books for sale. Recommended for stopping if passing through although it did look like a lot of locals were in there.

My husband and I try to visit Mocha and Lime once a month to treat ourselves to their divine breakfast muesli. It's full of yummy nuts and is served with fresh fruit, yoghurt and a side of honey. Their pesto scrambled eggs is also good, but the muesli is heaven. The staff are super friendly.

A friend and i had lunch here last weekend. The food was great, I had trout bruchetta which was delicious and fresh. My friend had the scrambled eggs which she loved. The red pesto amazing and definetely a stand out. The live music was a little loud at some points, but the musician was good and he added a nice ambiance and spark to the cafe.

I got a coffee from here, it wasn't too bad a price, but it was only a small coffee. However it was exceptional. The place was packed out and they had a singer as entertainment.
The food looked yum, so next time I go I might have to try the food

We ordered 2 BLTs (14.50 each) a bacon sandwich (somehwere around $8) and a egg and soldiers ($6.50). The coffee was exceptional, however the three story BLT was difficult to eat, the bread seemed day old and was the plain square variety you get at IGA. It was definitely nothing special. The bacon sandwich was for a child (I made this clear) however even if it were an adult serve, it was nothing more than the same terrible bread, butter and bacon. The egg was perfect but this was for a two year old who couldn't care less. @$58 dollars for two adult and two children under 4 I was less than impressed. It also took twenty minutes minimum.

Had a lovely brunch here. The drinks were well made. The food was fresh and tasty. Sitting outside was a bit deadly though, as the birds were dropping acorns on our heads and food. It was funny to start off with but then a few direct hits later not so! I would sit inside next time.

Love this place. You feel like you're visiting a friend's place for a cuppa, great service and lovely atmosphere. The food is really lovely, home-style cooking and they do an awesome breakfast. The Sunday sessions are great fun too. My pick of the town for a great cafe experience.
