Well back again for another birthday. Cant praise this place enough
So grab yourself a coffee and read on

Place was packed last night so lucky i made a reservation.
Can not fault the staff, knowledgable, happy, helpful and charming.
we had a plan to order a fair few entrees
as they were for three and thats how many of us were there.
Well that plan worked somewhat .
Every entree was absolutely delicious, steamed pork dumpling ,Prawn twists are crispy and full,my fave along with the most delectable shanghai dumplings. The taste of meat and soup in a small dumpling was gorgeous on the palate.. Spring rolls were larger than other places and so tasty. Fried wonton are also a fave
Our orders were brought out in minutes hot and steamy.
Our main courses which we had intended to share 2 plates turned into 3.cos I got greedy lol
Sizzling curry beef with veg, came out as just that sizzling on a hot plate, Was beautiful presentation and tender beef and a very tasty sauce and presentation was stunning.a little hot for me to eat more than a few pieces but the family thought it was great.
Also had the cantonese pork in plum sauce with veg. The sauce was light and tasty, not overpowering nor so thick it was the only thing you could taste. Was just right ,compliments to the chef
Third plate was fried rice with prawns n veg, sons face lit up at the size ,all meals were large so dont go away feeling hungry but be aware they are not small serves lol
Son had to ask for containers to take his home in. He got to full with our round a bout of entrées.
Drinks I had a pineapple ice and had a lovely subtle flavour.wine list and drinks list is worth a mention.
The tables are cleaned in a timely fashion after customers leave.
Eat inside or outside under cover ,which we did tonight. Atmosphere is cosy, food delicious and the staff and owner are terrific.
Plenty of room between tables. Nothing has changed simce last visit and was wonderful birthday night out again. Most main dishes are under $20 and entrees around $10
If you are looking for a special ocassion place to eat at very reasonable prices for the amount of food then dont go past mo alley. Already planned the next birthday.thanks for a great night .

Approximate cost: $123

Omg ,found this place doing a google search for somewhere different for a birthday night out and so glad we chose this place
Hidden gem in carseldine shopping centre ,so well worth the drive
Beautiful, wooden tables, inside and nice smaller tables outside. Very quiet corner
So many different things to try but dont order a main meal,by yourself! They are rather large.
We arrived ,seated by a lovely young man, explained things to us,the menu, specials etc. we ordered drinks ,i ordered a strawberry soda and devoured that so got a lychee soda ,both were delish and had those jelly type pearls and mint and fruit in them and were cold!
So,we ordered entrees, shanghai steamed pork dumplings with soup filling were absolutely scrumptious, never broke their casing, were fresh and hot and so tasty.
I ordered prawn twists and didnt share lol they had larger prawns in them and were lovely and crisp and hot
Mains were special fried rice with egg, pork chicken, we shared but didnt eat it all,
Son had honey pork which was crispy, not over cooked and just right with the sauce ,decorated with fresh half slices of cucumber and spiral carrot. Looked great.
The rest of us had pork in orange sauce with cointreau and i must say it was the best, just right in every way tho i could have shared it .again with the fresh garnish ,was lovely. Sauce was just thick enough and a nice orange taste.
Duck battered in lemon sauce was delectable and the duck fillet with shitake mushrooms in oyster sauce and vegetable was so tender and mouth watering.
So much food tho. Next time we will share a main and devour the entrees. Nothing was at fault except the large meals but we asked if we could have take home containers for the rice we couldnt eat and some of my sons honey pork.
More than happy to accomodate us.
The owner is lovely and asks a few questions of us like how we found the place etc, no ones in your face and the service was great. Open for dinner tue and wed and the rest of the week from 11
Parking is in the centre car park a minutes walk away.
Drinks were served in mason jars and were $6:50 ,rice was 13:50 and meals were from $18/26.
Place is clean, and inviting, pity its in the corner where u can miss it,but dont! Take friends for lunch, dinner, family,hi chairs are available.
So impressed. We will go,back again and again

Approximate cost: $18
