I have been using Mingara One Fitness for many years, and while their facilities are excellent, the system they use for gym membership and personal training sessions is not, and it is easy to end up with direct debits you do not know about.

Then if you apply for a refund for sessions that could never have been used due to serious injury (resulting in surgery), they will not refund anything (even if presented with medical certificates). This happened to my wife in 2016, costing us around $2,000.

This is contrary to the NSW Fair Trading Fitness Industry Code of Practice and is not good enough for a Community Club.

Approximate cost: $70

This Business went out of Business in 2014, but there larger centre in Mingara is thriving. Have a look there, or at anytime fitness a few doors down.

The staff are motivating, helpful, inspiring, dedicated and friendly. The atmosphere is great! It isnt like other gyms, it is a fitness studio. Definitely recommend to people wanting to improve on their fitness
