Price of ramen is a tad high. Was not a fan of the tsukemen as the noodle was very cold making the soup cold very quickly. The matcha creme brulee was amazing! Service is very typical for Japanese restaurants. Worth trying

This restaurant is been recommended by my uni friends, they said the tsukemen in the mensousai mugen is GOOD. Also, my friend told me to get an extra egg along with the tsukemen. So, i did order the tsukemen and the extra egg just like my friend told me. The food is totally worth it .. The broth was not too thick its just perfect and the egg totally made it even more delicious!!! the service was efficient - love it, the staff - polite and friendly. Thanks to my friends, now i have another favourite japanese restaurant in the cbd area.

This is a cool underground ramen bar. It feels upmarket and sophisticated.
Menu wise the sophistication shows in the ramen, side offerings and drinks available.
I had a sweet potato lager ($14) which tasted malty-chocolatey and definitely a new drink to try for people who might enjoy richer flavours.
I had the Tsukemen - dipping noodles. For $15, I got 300g of house made noodles, a bowl of Dashi and Soy Sauce broth, slices of Slow Cooked Pork, Bamboo Shoots and Seaweed. This was a very very generous serving, and if it wasn't for the fact that it was so delicious I would not have been able to finish it. After the bowl of noodles was finished, our waitress came with a pot of clean-tasting konbu-infused fish stock which has some bonito resting on the surface. After you finish the noodles, the waittress comes out with a cleansing stock to top up your dipping sauce, and you finish your meal by drinking the resulting soup.
