One of my favourite places for Indian food in Adelaide. Their Punjabi Thali is my absolutely favourite. It's very filling and the butter chicken tastes great. Service has always been very pleasant and the wait for food isn't too long. I highly recommend Maya if you're looking for a nice casual Indian restaurant.

i went to this place to celebrate my birthday and had few guest with me.
The food was tasty and the quality was good.but waiting time was long :(
even then i would recommend this place to all who would like to try indian food

Located in the 'Indian' district off Gouger Street, Maya prepares some wonderful (if a bit too spicy for my palate), authentic cuisine. Their staff is quite friendly, and although service is a bit slow, the food makes up for it. From my experience, they excel in vegetarian cuisine, doing a mean Saag Paneer, and their naans are also very nice. Reasonably priced, a good dining experience.

I have been here a couple of times now and both times the food has be great. The dosas and tahlis are excellent but all the food was good. The service was friendly and attentive, always checking that everything was OK. There were Indian families eating here too so we figured that the food must be good.
