This resort has about 20 rooms, mostly 2 bedroom, sleeping up to 6 people, both ground floor and upstairs on the first floor.
We booked 2 units over the long weekend for 4 couples.
The units we had were upstairs. They were a good size, with a kitchen and living area, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, private balcony and a laundry with washing machine and dryer. The fixtures were all fairly new and good quality. The rooms were clean and tidy and in good condition, plenty of room, quite comfortable for 2 couples, with private bathroom facilities for each.
The resort managers were very friendly and helpful, There is an enclosed, heated pool, games room for the kids and adults lounge upstairs, with pool table, darts, TVs etc. Also a mini-golf course, enclosed BBQ area and half-court tennis court.
The resort is located on Barrage Road, about 2 kilometres from the town centre, toward the sea and on the banks of the River Murray. A very picturesque setting.
There are good facilities in the town, a Woolworths, Foodland and a lot of eating places. Lots of attractions as well in the area, and good swimming and surfing beaches nearby, as well as more protected boating areas on the river.
We had a very enjoyable weekend at this resort and will definitely return in the future.
