Really enjoyed browsing this information centre. A great deal of interesting items on show. Interesting books to purchase too. The history of the area is fascinating and I spent a fair time here. Friendly staff too.

The Mannum Dock Museum is well worth a visit. See the small cabins that the early settlers used when travelling long distances on the Murray. Also how the vessel was powered.

I always bring family from outside of the area here, as I am passionate about the Murraylands and the "river experience". The volunteers here are also very passionate and I appreciated all their knowledge about the area.

I also visit here to stock up on souveiners for my overseas family, and they also have a few local business items - which it is always great to support them too!

At the bottom end of the main street, handy to the caravan park and motel.
They have lots of local information, and the local volunteers working there are friendly and helpful.
The Centre also provides access to the Mannum Dockyard Museum, where the beautiful old historical Marion riverboat is moored.
Check out the old wooden riverboat displayed in the Visitor Centre. Its really eye-catching, used to display souvenirs for sale, and forms part of the counter as well.

I was researching information for my local progress association and they sourced historical information and local contacts for me at no charge.
Very helpful and friendly staff.
