This is the best chinese food in the Newcastle area and I would recommend it to anyone. We regularly eat there and we always get our take-away there and drive from Windale to get it.

Being a regular visitor to many chinese restaurants, I really needed to share just how good the mandarin palace is.
The meals are VERY affordable, at $12-15 each. The food is exceptional, one of the best chinese restaurants I have been to, we went as a group, and ordered Special Fried Rice, Garlic King Prawns, Honey CHicken, Prawn Omelette, Sweet & sour Pork, & Mongolian Lamb. ALL of wich were amazing, I did not have a single complaint at the whole table. It equaled out to about $23 a person, including drinks. The service was exceptional, food cooked and served promtly and all around a great atmosphere! I highly recommend you try it!
