Most tastiest Malay food in the area with the vege stir fry being one of the best i have sampled. I found the staff to be really friendly and prompt and the food delish.
Hands down the best Malaysian restaurant in Sydney. Famous for its authentic hawker favourites, the Straits are even better value for its KL 'tai chow' dishes such as the Kam Heong Prawns, Butter Prawns, Okra Blacan and countless more. Chef Tan is a legend!

I have been many times with my friends. One of my favourite place to eat. I really like soft tofu with stir fry veggie. The other food are also very good and have a generous portioning. The most favourite food I ever try is the special sauce used to cook our own byo mud crab for $20. I would love to recommend this to anyone of you. It's located behind the building though, I never imagine there will be a very nice small restaurant hidden there. It's just like finding treasure. :)

This is a Malaysia/thai restaurant close to Broadway shopping centre.
I would say if you are after malaysia food, come here, if you are after thai food, go somewhere else.
The Hainanese chicken is famous here, recommend your guys to give it a try. However, I would suggest you not to order pad thai here, the taste is not right.
I love their Kuetiaw siram
I have been there for many times. very nice food especially the kuatiam siram. you must try!
also the ayam goreng. the price are pretty decent. nice service too.
I cannot single out any one dish because they are all incredible.
highly recommended.

A busy Malaysian/Thai place with great food, a loyal following and decent prices. Tucked away just off Broadway, it's definitely worth knowing about! The Assam Laksa seems the most popular dish when I've been there...
Approximate cost: $10-15
Great info thanks
Very authentic Malaysian cuisine and prices are very reasonable. I don't think I've ever had a disappointing meal here!
Approximate cost: $15
I'm addicted to the nasi lemak with beef rendang option ($9.50), I love the little crispy fish on the side and the sambal is sooo good, spicy, oily and fishy! The ayam goreng is delicious too. Great value for good food, and it's cheaper if you get meal with rice option.
Nice service for a Malaysian restaurant although the food was satisfactory. Portions are not very big, however they are as can be expected for this type of food outlet. Conveniently located within our residential complex so we have eaten there a few times.
Approximate cost: $12.00
