We have been to this restaurant twice now and both times they produced wonderful food at relatively inexpensive prices. The tapas platter is a great way to start if this is your first time visiting this restaurant. Also if your adventurous I suggest trying one of the juices on offer, all unique and delicious.

Had family staying recently and knowing how much they all loved mexican food we decided to try this restaurant after reading the previous review.

We were not disappointed. Exceptional food and service. Everyone had a great time. Our meals were generous and very well presented, we were all impressed. As for the flavours, well absolutely delicious. We ordered the Tapas Platter which certainly had a bit of everything, really enjoyed the chargrilled sizzle steak, everything was perfect, no complaints. Definitely some of the best mexican cuisine I have had in a long time.
Definitely recommend and we will be returning regularly.

Whoop whoop! Found a Mexican restaurant that I like. It's better than the franchise types that litter the suburbs.
The menu on their website needs a bit of spell check, but the food is amazing. If you're in for spicy, get something off their Volcano menu. I suggest the Cochinita Pibil.
For the faint of heart, go for the tacos or if you're really hungry, the tapas platter.

Friendly service. The tostada style volcanes were our favorite. The vegetarian platter we tried was very bland, so on our next visit we will order more volcanes for our meal. Great ambience, a very popular restaurant in the area.

Like the sound of the volcanes, will have to try.

I love this restaurant. Food is very good. I recommend them to everyone. A little pricey, but worth it. One word to describe this place: Yum. Maiz & Mezcal is my favourite restaurant.

The only reason I am not giving this place five starts is because of the service. Our waiter was very tardy and left halfway through our visit without taking our mains order and apparently not passing responsibility to someone else. However, the food is amazing. Really great quality and very reasonably priced. Had a lime margarita which was fantastic. Will definitely go back and hopefully the service will be sorted.

Best Mexican food ever, authentic Mexican street food, all gluten free, some of the beers too. Had the M&M Tapas Platter for 2, great way to try a selection of the menu, my partner enjoyed his first beer in 4 years due to it being gluten free, tasted great. I tried the hibiscus drink, refreshing. Finished with Home baked Mexican cheesecake served with wild berry sauce and crème anglaise looks just like the photo on their website, really nice. Service really great, their signature is their M&M Margaritas, highly recommend this place, book early because they are very popular and busy.

Approximate cost: $34.50
