We have known Peter for many years and have always had exceptional service from them. Great customer service as well as mechanical from Clayton and all staff. We are always informed by phone if they find any other problem - to explain what they had found, how to fix it, and the cost. They don't overcharge! One of the great family businesses! We will continue to use MAC'S Auto Service.

I brought my car without any booking to get a 2nd opinion. Clayton explained the urgency what needed to be done and i gave it a go to have my rear shocks fix. Im pleased that they were able to take my car on the day and had my car ready on time. Im also pleased that Clayton took me to the actual workshop to show me the rear mount that has been replaced and the front mount which has a tiny split. By showing this to me, it gave me more understanding what worked has been done and the problem that I can address later. I dont like just giving me a piece of paper and being overwhelmed by all the cost. I need to understand which is the most urgent and work from there gradually. I think I will come back with Mac's as I felt taken care of and Clayton gave me a good customer service. Thumbs up!

They do not over charge.
Having dealt with various mechanics over many years I have learnt that a lot of repairs are not needed and they do not fix the problem of the visit and the account is enormous. At Mac's this is not the case.

These guys fixed my car when I broke down! I got a tow truck to tow to them and I had it back within minutes

A chance offer at the front door to buy a special voucher (range of services) for Macs allowed me to try them. My first visit with the voucher was satisfactory and was prepared for some additional costs over and above the voucher conditions. My second visit (different car) was amazing as they did the service at no extra cost. For decades I have had bad experiences with mechanics who always found extra issues to repair and replace over an above the standard fee. Macs have proved to be honest, reliable and good value.
