Worth calling in if you are in the area,there were lots of specials and came out of there with 2 bags of fruit and vegies for under $15.

went there and decided to get a whole heap of fruit and veggies as they had lots of specials on .i usually have got one shop that i already shop at but decided to get it all in one hit at the same time...i was slightly disappointed when the next day the fruit was near rotten and was fruit flied swarmed?what a waste of $40.

The wife and I always get our fruit and veg from here when we shop at Macarthur Square. The bigger retailers (you know who they are!) always seem to either have rotten fruit and veg or just little supply available. Macarthur Fruit Market are always stocked up on their fruit and veg and are always much cheaper than the others. It's always worth stopping here after you've done the rest of your shopping.

I recently went to get some fruit at a large supermarket and I was very disappointed in the quality of the fruit on display. The nearby fruit shop proved to have a far more extensive range of fruits available, plus their prices were very competitive. They continued to stock a number of types of apples, and oranges. That. The chain store seemed to have discontinued. Why can a small local retailer still manGe to get these types of food into their shop when large supermarket chain, with aol their buying power, failed miserably. The fruit shop also had four registers working,for about twenty customers, whilst the retail chain had three working for about forty customers. I was much more impressed with the way the fruiters ran their store. They had good quality products, nice staff, easy access, and they kept their store clean, whilst the chain store had left empty boxes in the aisles.

The staff seem to enjoy their jobs and make the shopping experience a good one. Very fresh produce at great prices. This shop gives the supermarket a run for its money.
