Wonderful dining experience in a lovely, intimate waterfront setting.

We dined at LuMi for dinner last night and had the 8 course degustation for $105 pp, which I think is very affordable considering the quality and service of the entire experience.

Most dishes were unlike anything I'd had before! Such a creative and unique fusion of Italian and Japanese flavours, which seem strange but work beautifully.

Highlights for me were the crab with scallop emulsion, tomatillo and finger lime, the porcini mushroom agnolotti which burst with delicious flavour and both of the desserts! The yoghurt sorbet with tarragon oil and raspberry granita, and the fennel pollen, frozen coconut and rhubarb.

Would not hesitate to recommend a visit to LuMi if you are after a wonderfully inventive and in my opinion affordable degustation!
