A very popular spot in the markets, we were luckly enough to manage to get a table on a busy Saturday morning, the coffee was very nice. We also grabbed some of their pasta sauce to takeway which we enjoyed that night

Lucia's is a bit expensive and I don't think they would get away with their prices in another major city where fine produce is easier to come by.

But besides from that, Lucia's is fabulous. They have a yoghurt and desserts section that gets me pretty excited, with beautiful pannacotta that's my favourite, and their pasta sauces are the twins of their authentic, delicious restaurant dishes. They also sell gourmet everything: oils and vinegars and verjuices and vinocotto, and nougat and chocolate and other little treats.

A great place for picking up hard to find items and treats.

I can't really rate the quality or value, as after waiting 20 minutes for a takeaway coffee (admittedly on a Saturday morning) I had to leave. Not sure if this is normal but it was a very disappointing first time experience.

I think you might mean Lucia's Pizza Bar (the fine foods is next door and sells produce and products not hot food and drink).

Good food here with a huge range of products available. Lucias pasta and pasta sauces can be bought from here along with wide range of gourmet foods, coffees, bread, oils, cheese the list could go on...
Never had anything from here that I have been disappointed with and tastings can be had a certain times.
